Learning Analysis
The first step of beginning a new project is to fully understand the business objectives and the scope of work. At the onset of each new customer project, our team will gain a full understanding of all project components and an in-depth knowledge of our client’s business, processes, products, learner job roles and functions and any relevant software customizations associated with the project. We also assess the learning objectives, performance goals, and change management initiatives. This critical information is rapidly identified, synthesized into an Analysis Report detailing our findings, and directly impacts the design of your learning solution.

Custom Content Design and Development
If training content is not relevant to the everyday business processes of each unique learner, it fails. At HighPoint Solutions, we know the importance of fully understanding the “day-in-the-life” of the user, which is why each training program focuses on the learner and the challenges the face. Be it instructor-led or eLearning, we create exercises and scenarios using the same vocabulary, concepts, and procedures as the learners to maximize the saliency of the learning program.

Our Instructional Designer’s primary responsibility is to design a program around key learning objectives ensuring the needs of users are addressed. Whether you require content conversion services (i.e. conversion from paper based materials to electronic format) or building curriculum from scratch, the HighPoint Solutions approach to Instructional Design will ensure that your important learning message is successfully communicated to and retained by your end user.

Blended Delivery
Instructor led
Instructor-led training is the heart of learning. HighPoint Solutions employs a team of professionals, who are experts in training complex, customized business applications and processes. Our team dedicates themselves to fully understanding your people, process and technology and prides itself on engaging learners. In turn, by using real life scenarios, the new tools and/or processes are fully embraced by the student and our clients are rewarded with a maximized return on investment.

eLearning
eLearning provides our clients the ability to access training on their own time, at their own pace. Our eLearning is appealing and purposeful to the audience. Sound instructional design principals and learning methodologies are used to support our compelling online learning. Utilizing our team of seasoned instructional designers, programmers and graphic developers, we incorporate the best adult learning theories and create user-friendly interfaces ensuring an engaging program and increasing information retention. To reinforce learning we recommend that certification and testing be incorporated into these programs.

Virtual instructor-led
Geography, logistics and budgets can limit the opportunities for instructor-led training. To address these issues, HighPoint Solutions offers live, virtual classroom learning solutions delivered via the Internet. HighPoint Solutions' experienced virtual instructors understand the dimensions of new delivery methods and incorporate them for a successful virtual event. This allows the learner to interact with a live instructor from a variety of geographically dispersed locations.

Change Management Communication and Strategies
In designing effective learning and performance improvement programs, HighPoint Solutions often employs change management & communication campaigns to raise awareness within the target audience. Our aim is to raise awareness of the impending change, the reasons for it, and the benefits to the target audience. HighPoint Solutions works with you to create an engaging and poignant communications as well as a pragmatic plan to prepare your organization for change.

Evaluation
Learning is an ongoing process. We measure the success of our training programs by the utilization of Levels 1-3 of the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation. At HighPoint Solutions we believe it is imperative to assess each learning program in order to track and monitor the effectiveness and recommend potential areas for improvement.

Levels 1 -3 are defined below:

  • Level 1 - Reaction: conducted per classroom at the end of every training event.
  • Level 2 – Learning: Knowledge gained in the classroom. Measuring learning by assessing factual data retained following introduction of learning content. Typically these evaluations consist of true/false and multiple choice questions taken from the training content.
  • Level 3 - Transfer of knowledge from training to the everyday environment of the learner: Did the training have a positive impact on the learner’s behavior? Level 3 evaluations are used to determine whether or not the training provided the users with the skills necessary to increase productivity and improve performance. The evaluations are typically administered 60-90 days post training and can be delivered to the end users as a written assessment. Level 3 is important because it provides you with actual “on the job” results from the training program. We recommend that an electronic survey be administered via email.
